I bought a piece of audio equipment through Craig's list about a month back, unfortunately without listening. It wouldn't work from the start.
The guy seems nice, took it back for repair, told me that it is not functional. When asked to refund, he says he has trouble getting that much of $$$ together, and asks for a day or 2 every time I enquire. This has been going for a week.
How can I get my money back?
Thanks

If he is local, mail him a certified letter asking for either a full refund, or a properly functioning amp. If he still refuses, involve local law enforcement.
At least that's what I'd do. If he isn't local your options are a little bit slimmer. How did you pay him?
He is local and I paid him by personnel check.
As long as it's a relatively recent transaction they should be able to do it pretty fast.If they can't get the funds back, then try what I suggested above. Good luck!
