Like the first one, previously posted, this took me four hours to re-do.All the newly-added lead wire is 12 AWG, Mil Spec. The primary became "double 12 AWG" lead ins, black, gray and white. Double 12 AWG is effectively 9 AWG . ( Stock was 22 AWG . )
The 5 VCT rectifier leads ( 18 AWG - stock ) became single-yellows (12 AWG ) twisted, and double yellow as the center tap, which is the HV B+ feed to L1 in the B+ filter chain.
The HV winding ( 22 AWG stock ) became single oranges (12 AWG ) twisted ( 'had no red color ) and double orange, LONG length - 24 inches, as the HV center tap's GROUND return...... to amp's Star Ground. Effectively - 9 AWG.
I was able to carefully TRIPLE heatshrink insulate all the leads, where joined under the end bells. Electrical taped the end bells inside also. No shims of the end bell were required.
Just took my time and did it as good as I could. How does this sound?? :-)
Have FUN building, I am !!

Nice work btw. I want to redo a pair of my Fisher 80AZ and a pair of Sansui EL34 mono block output and power transformers. What ga wire are you using?
A friend you get for nothing,an enemy has to be bought
12 AWG times two becomes 9 AWG effective.Mikey, its Mil Spec wire, copper stranded, silver plated, teflon jacketed, 600 VDC rated. Its readily available, surplus, like Apex Jr ( Steve ) and LOTS now on eBay, very reasonable in cost vs value derived.
On-Off switches of our home's line voltages for our amps ......are a MAJOR loss area in a good amp.
Mikey, to maintain DYNAMICS, I ALWAYS PARALLEL-wire my DPDT on-off switches' contacts, to have TWO sets of contacts in use. (Photo above, that is Fulton Brown speaker wire paralleling AC switch contacts, about 10 AWG ).
Also, 2015 on, on my DIY " personal amps " I add a second on-off switch, and wire it with double 12 AWG so it will short-out the amp's start-up thermistor AND fuse, in what I call my " attended listening " switch position. (Photo above, doubled light gray wires with white heatshrink, coming off AC switch).
That technique is a truly lovely listening gain on my 45 SET DC amp. Its addictive. Just for "my" personal use when amp is attended / 'am listening.
Try it, you will like it !! Have fun, I am!!
