Any SET amplifier, no matter of price, $200, $2,000, $20,000 or even $200,000 is just a very simple electronic device, derivative of 193x tech. Nothing special at all. Literally - nothing.
$20,000 - $200,000 is a marketing attraction value, have very little to do with technological level or complexity.

The care taken to install the label has nothing to do with 1930s or 2010s technology. It does have to do with the manufacturer caring to do things right. Obviously WAVAC did not in that highly visible case.

I wouldn't shoot them for crooked label, its occasional mishap which I could easily correct and forget.
However, their transformers remind me something. In particular, units made back in 195x - 196x. Look at winding which is wound on paper/plastic coil former instead of bobbin.
Its saved a whopping $15 - $20 for a $20k product!
Mid-level vintage tube amps cost around $120 - $200 in 196x, this roughly translates to $900 - $1500 today (according to CPI inflation calculator). This is probably what most of so called high-end unit really worth.
PS. I took and posted picture from your web site if you have nothing against it.
