LASER Faked Telefunken Diamonds found!!
I never thought this was possible, but yes some East European faker he made it. However I found a way to keep apart those faked Telefunken diamonds from real ones.
I have been told this guy is only practicing at the moment with tubes that are cheap to buy, and he has problems with slowly developing glass cracks by the laser process. But he will sure learn, and he had been doing several impressiv good fake jobs before.
Het is preparing a massive sales of faked Telefunken E88CC, which he will be mainly selling to tube dealer companies.
Beware for "too good to be true" deals on TFK E88CC, that are offered nicely in 100 pcs boxes.

Thank you Jac!
We all know this happens, and almost all of us underestimate how frequently it does, and how sophisticated the trickery can be. The linked page is a really valuable contribution.
You'd think that the labor involved and cost of equipment wouldn't make it worth the hassle. Esp in a market that is keen to fakes.
How about those rectifiers. If you look carefully you see the EI small printing on them still. That's good business sell them for 69$ one.

This is from the EI scrap stock, the opened box shows the rectifier:
