Your AN amp works pretty well with almost any 6SN7GT or equivalent. Neverthless, others to try: 6SN7W, Sylvania Bad Boy, 7N7 with adapter, to name a few. 7119/EC182 will make a difference in place of the 5687s.

"Went through a bunch of 6SN7's Brimar, National Union, Ken Rad(VT-231's), RCA's all early production 40's I found best worked for me. But this unusual combo I mentioned above really does something special, it just seems so wrong to do that though!
Haven't tried 6SN7W's a little hesitant because they are pricey and are a so much later production, any comments here are most welcome?
7N7 Now here I am quite intrigued, think I just have to try this.I tried just the RCA 7044's 1960's and found they didn't do anything close to my 5687's even the worst I had, if you have some experience substituting 5687's please share?

Peter Qvortrup likes them. I had some and put them in my Meishu. My AN dealer listened and said they sound fabulous. I heard a more Audio-Note like performance, less grain and harshness compared to the 5687s, but I wasn't using the old Tung-Sols in the first place.
I am not particularly good at describing the few sounds I can hear.
