..... my quad of Globes are presently in the Black Stereo PP45 amp,
sitting on the shelf !
Yes these Wurlitzer amps sound very good. ..... I've been using both 30's for inputs....Ah yes something else add to the tweak list...
I've never seen a Globe 30 or VT-67, that's a new animal for me. Would love to hear them !
I love these amps for their tonal quality and sheer power, all wrapped up by the sound of DHT tubes..... " sonically rewarding" is an understatement.
Have fun
Willie
Ok I'll switch to the Globes

Hi Willie,
Tell me about your new speaker wiring. Is that Mil Spec wire? I remember you recommended it for the speaker crossover. Hope you are doing well.
Best Regards,
Chuck
Yeah Chuck, If you haven't tried 12ga Mil Spec wire. Then you are missing something special. My friends JM and DF, turned me on to the stuff
Since I replaced my speaker's internal wiring and amplifier speaker wires with Mil spec wire, I've been doing nothing but trying different amps with this set up, and loving every minute of it.
Double wires on the woofers singles on the tweets, Doubles on the equal length inputs. ... Give it a try!
Have fun!
Willie
I also have had the Mil Spec wire recommended to me, but am considering opting for quality silver, though it is expensive! I have never liked silver over copper, even the more expensive stuff, but admittedly have only heard it in typical solid state, low efficiency systems. What is it you like about music with the Mil Spec wire in place? What were you using before then change? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

I've tried copper speaker wires and could never get the highs I wanted.
I really liked the DIY made Teflon coated 20ga Silver Wire speaker wire, on my GPA 604's.
I also really liked the Chinese Flat Ribbon Silver Plated Copper speaker wire I bought off Ebay.
If I could afford it I'd use double "12ga Stranded Silver" wire........ So I settled for the Mil spec instead !.
The Mil spec. esp. in larger gauge gives me a very nice combination of good solid Bass and extended highs I need.
Have fun!
Willie
In my Crossover I tried to use as much Silver wire as I could acquire, paying attention to the grounds.
