These were going at a bargain rate a while ago on Audio Gone.
Not a 300B, but these 2A3 monoamps were a bargain at $5K used.

Tell you what! Those amps were made in 1989-- they have a 1991 check-up/check-out date on them. One has a newer power trans installed by someone else-- approximately 10 years later..I think the other trans got wet and was rusted! (not our fault, I think...) The guy called me and I sent him a new power trans-- PPD. He had called about 10 years after it was built. He wasn't even the original owner.
Tell you what-- I have a deal FOR YOU also! RMAF 2012. Mid- October at Denver's Marriott Tech Center Hotel. Serious Stereo Room.
Bring ANY amps into our room. If it looks good, and proves safe to use, we'll hook it up and play it on our system-- (it's at our discretion-- so ask first).
IF it beats ours, we'll (only if you want) allow it to remain for the entire show's duration unless it underperforms at some point-- if that happens, ours go back in! It it's THAT GOOD-- good enough to stay--, we'll do more-- we will put up a sign, giving full credit IN OUR DEMO ROOM-- to the guys responsible for it. If you have a nice picture of the builder, that will also get posted.
Only one thing-- it has to beat ours musically. Don't worry-- there will be plenty of un-biased people present to judge. There always are in my demo room!

I am not saying your amps are better or worse than any other. I am saying some folks here are getting tired of the constant veiled advertising on this forum.
You are dead wrong.
There was no veiled advertising what so ever by Deathtube 667. He, like me, has NO financial interest in Serious Stereo. We appreciate the man and his products, a pure simple appreciation.
Deathtube 667 just applies a modern power supply ( I sent you the posts on that, you read them) to HIS own DIY tube design, and understands and respects what it has done for his own musical enjoyment.
We are talking about an amateur enjoying his own audio gear, and THAT is the point of this Forum. He gives Dennis a deserved acknowledgement. Your talk of commercialism is pure RUBBISH. Straighten up and fly right.
