That is not the amp he is asking about.. and it probably wouldn't hurt to note that your opinion on the A08 is pretty much in the minority.

My opinion of it matched the gentleman who owns it, and of all who heard it played. The reaction went something like this: what are those people who say all those nice things about the amp smoking( or perhaps putting in their ears )?

No they were a mix of EV, JBL and RCA pro gear. I can't escape the conclusion that even if you were there you'd say here it never happened that way.

Not so. If I were there I would take memory that under serious consideration especially if I was sober.
Barring that, if you have any photographic evidence you could get a notary to sign-off on that could also get results.
No offense. I don't take this stuff too seriously. Ok, I was a little incredulous, probably because your experience with this amp is so far from not only my own but honestly all the other feedback I can remember, probably from at least 10 sources. Horses for courses and system matching is everything.

Yep, it suprised everybody involved( but I thought I made that plain ). The only person *NOT* suprosed was its owner, for whom it was( and is still actually ) serving paperweight duty. As far as I can tell, it is a pretty, Japanese, SE 45 amp...and that makes it difficult to deliver reasonable analysis.
