Handling 300B during tube rolling?

I've heard 300B should be left to cool down a bit before removing it from the tube socket because the grid is unprotected. How long should I wait for it to cool down during tube rolling? Thanks!

Until you can handle it without dropping it (if it is too hot, you will let go = smashed tube on floor).

aside from the grid ... you kind of ruin the skin on your fingers too ... hehehe

I believe it applies to every tube, not only 300B.
