that kid can play. Not sure what date or venue this was but there is a DVD coming out supposedly by the end of the year. Did a little research on them and apparently the band seen in this video has broken up but Davy Knowles is on the road with a new band. If you go to you tube and search for BDS, tons of videos. I've listened to the MP3 clips of the studio record and the live date from Bonnaroo and those are nothing like what I saw and heard last night. The kid can SHRED!

Any other good guitar players ever spring from the Isle of Mann?
Did not know the original members dispersed - too bad. Davey is an excellent player, plus decent vocals. Even though at the time the band was not old enough to drink in the bar where I saw them, their music and playing sounded very mature.
they joked about their age at the end of the show I saw on MAV TV. The drummer said he was 21 at the time but did not drink. I hope the DVD that is supposed to come out is that show because it was GREAT. Way better than the samples I listened to of their albums.
I don't know how they would fare 10 years from now when they would (have) ceased to be a novelty because of their age but I thought they were tight beyond their age and Davy can flat play but should give up singing and concentrate on his chops and or take singing lessons.

...I really liked their first album.
Then last year I went to see Jeff Back and Davey Knowles was the opening act - solo playing acoustic.
Very talented kid.
