the production, especially with the heavy sci-fi effects, is a little too ripe for my tastes, like xtc. i wonder if it'll sound dated a few years down the road, like some electronica stuff from years back.

i do, however, really like how the cd sounds. super big, wide soundstage, especially good for something with a lot of electronic sounds. i also think they do a great job mixing together the acoustic instruments with the electronic effects. i think this is a really cool disc to hear on a good hi-fi system.
