My copy came with a 45 of Nick Lowe and Dave Edmonds singing Everly Brothers songs.
I even saw Rockpile on tour.
Count Five Psychotic Reaction may have been the first L.P. I ever bought.
Didn't dig the Monks.
Blind Faith and Derek & Dominos; of course.
Love Something In The Air by Thunderclap Newman.
Temple of the Dog is for grunge lovers only.
Saw Johnny Thunders with the N Y Dolls but never listened to the Heartbrakers stuff.
I think all you audiophiles have heard the Buena Vista Social Club, or should.
Jeff Buckley's Grace showed incredible promise; what a voice! A flawed album though.
The rest are unheard by me, except for Jonathan Richman's quirk-tastic Road Runner.
Follow Ups:
I saw Rockpile in 1978 in StL at the Kiel Operra House - they opened for Blondie.
..."Crawling From the Wreckage" is a terrific song.
but it's on the Dave Edmunds solo record Repeat When Necessary, from right around the same time. Wouldn't surprise me if was all the same musicians.
