Played the whole of Hand.Cannot.Erase during the first half, did the proggie thing and stopped for a break before playing all sorts in the second half.
He had Roger Waters' guitarist from The Wall and 2006 tour, Dave Kilminster with him on stage, and the playing was outstanding.
It was at a small club called The Belly-up Tavern with a 600 capacity, and the sound was great. As was the view.
Melancholy lyrics, uplifting rhythms and melodies. Wilson asked the crowd to stop 'filming' the show on their phones in case it bothers the people behind them. Down went the phones.

with my 17 year old son. We both really dug it, especially the keyboard player.
Been a Porcupine fan for years.
Belly-up in Solano Beach? Love that place. Traveled many times from Houston to see acts there. Jackie Greene, Beth Hart have been my most recent outings there.
He is one of the truly great artist of our day. An amazing library of music. Plus I'm sure plenty more to come. Highly influenced as a child by Pink Floyd and others of that genre.
Fabulous writer and performer. Kilminster is a beast of a player and his guitar tone is always inspiring! It's kinda selfish, but I like that Wilson plays at small venues so the vibe is maintained. Glad you enjoyed it!
