Always loved the FM "Future Games" & "Bare Trees" efforts.
Follow Ups:
Those IMHO are the two best FM albums of all time. Still very listenable.
Musetap, was also in the house for that Berkeley Greek Theatre concert. Which was in September '78. Same day as Kenny "the Snake" Stabler's Holy Roller to Dave "the Ghost" Casper, which beat San Diego's stunned Chargers (in John Madden's last year coaching the Raiders, btw). Got a copy of Fleetwood Mac's 1974 KSAN Live Show from Dig Music's Dennis Newhall. Derived from a Warner Brothers promotional album sent to stations in 1975, it was obsolete upon arrival as Welch was out & Lindsey Buckingham & Stephanie Nicks had already replaced him. Some of the broadcast studio banter, & false start on "Sentimental Lady", had been edited out, also. Welch paved the way for the band's transition from Brit blues rockers to West Coast Big Mac Attack! R.I.P. also to Welch's "Mystery To Me" guitar mate Bob Weston, who passed away in January! R.I.P. Bob Welch!!!
