    Though didn't goes as far as a replica PG Les Paul. Maybe, that's why I don't quite cop his great tone as well. 8^)

        their magnets are actually reversed on that pup (famous Peter Green special modification). I'm running hottest Gibson ceramic 500T and 496R pups. Can get pretty close to that famous nasal tone, with standard magnet layout and orientation of the two pickups.

        I seem to remember having 2 different 335s
        1 of which had the pickups like the Green Guitar,
        and the other as on yours ...... "seem" being the
        operative ......... :)
