I plan to try out the demo software, but I have some questions for users:Thanks.
- My speaker is not in the database. Is this a big handicap? I have the Dynaudio Special 25, which I imagine should be fairly simple to specify.
- Due to decor limitations, I don't have a lot of flexibility in the speaker position/height or the listening position. Would the software still be useful -- for instance, for finding room modes for parametric EQ or fine tuning positions?
- I'm gradually updating the decor in the room. Is it easy to "rerun" an analysis multiple times with different parameters.

Follow Ups:
1. It's not a big problem, pick a speaker that is similar, particularly in the bass cabinet design and driver size. If you purchase the full version you can create new speakers, basically putting in the parameters of your own speakers.
2. It is very useful for this, however, to calibrate a parametric you should first optimize listener and speaker position and then take actual measurements. The theoretical measurements that CARA provide are good enough to see if you do in fact need a parametric, but they are not accurate enough to actually calibrate a parametric in a real world setting.
3. Yes, you can just add in your new "decor", furnishings, drapes, capet to your existing plan and re-run the program.

Thank you. I ordered a copy.Interestingly, my speaker (Dynaudio Special 25) appears in the Room Simulator "powered by CARA" on the Rives Audio web site, but is not available in the full version of the CARA software.
