I just measured my room response using a Velodyne SMS-1 and have discovered that there is a null between about 30Hz and 50Hz. How do I fix this. I don't want to move my speakers. I presume bass trapping will help but is there a specific size of bass trap that would work well in this situation?
TIA.
Those are very low frequencies for bass traps to target. With a lot of traps you can improve below 50 Hz. But usually the better approach is to experiment with speaker and sub placement while measuring the LF response at high resolution.
Without knowing more about your room and size and speaker setup it's impossible to be more specific.

Thanks Ethan. That's good to know. I think my best option may be to move my listening position. I will test for that.
