Does anyone have any experience with the OC basement system for HT? I had a sales presentation yesterday at home. The system is based on prefab wall panels with built-in insulation, steel studs, and fabric facing; no drywall.I am much more concerned with sound quality inside the room, not noise levels elsewhere in the house.
Anybody seen (heard) this system in use? The link has some basic info.

Yes, I've seen/heard one of these in a neighbor's house. He was so proud to show it off. It's too dead. Almost like a "Whisper Room" for recording vocals. It's like one big bass trap. There was nothing at all above 1khz. It almost sounded like the tweeters were off.

The rep was saying things like "95% sound absorbtion." Maybe if I was 1 meter away from the speakers it would work!
