Will changing electrical service change sound?

I just had a new circuit breaker box installed (Siemens) to replace the old one (Pacific?). Unplugged my stereo system for 3 days. When I turned everything back on, the sound was different! More mellow, smoother, less transparent, less involving, less ring to acoustic guitars. I don't like it. Might sound dumb, but I believe EVERYTHING in a music system has the potential to change the sound - how about a new circuit box and wiring? No other changes to the system during that time period - just pulled the plug from the wall (after turning everything off).
