I recently upgraded my preamp to a Pass XP20 (from an XP10) and running the XA100.5. I had the previous setup all connected to the PPP and did the same with the XP20. However, the PPP now runs really hot (its too hot to touch) and am unsure whether this is normal given the XP20 has a separate power supply.

  Same PPP, nothing else has changed except the pre-amp.

    I haven't any idea. Does the preamp or its power supply get hot?
