For me, a mini Power Plant and a Soloist that regenerates.
Follow Ups:
A new power plant with balanced re-generated power + passive outputs.
Actually, a new P500 with better technology would do. I love the passive outlets from P500 to power up my TV and lights while the re-generated power for my pre-amp + CDP + DAC.
I want a wall wart plug in line conditioner\surge protector.
I have a couple of sub woofers currently not power protected and I do not want to use full size conditioners on them and one of them doesn't have the room for a soloist. I'd like to just plug it in the socket then plug the sub into it.
I've never used one, but if you're concerned about protection, Panamax makes a module you plug in like you want to do. I'm sure there's no filtering, and I haven't ever used one myself, but they're only about $50 and kick in at 330V. Or you can wire a plug onto a Soloist and let it hang there behind your sub. ;-)
Sorry guys, been on the road. How about a Duet? This piece was designed specifically for this task. While not a wall wart, it's quite small and extremely effective in both protection and performance.
Just a thought. It's what I use behind each of our Descent subwoofers with great success.
It's a great idea. We've had one on the drawing boards for a long time now but never got it off the boards.
Just put connectors on the Soloist. It would be big and maybe ugly wall wart, but surely convenient. I'd buy one or two right away.

Somehow I think you'd need a much bigger hole in the wall. ;-)
