Does the Duet as a retrograde filter for digital components connected to it as the UPC 200 did?

  Not sure what you mean. The 200 and the Duet have similar filters, only the Duet's filters are considerable more effective.

    Another advantage of the UPC module’s function as a one way gate for power line noise is keeping garbage generated by the very equipment you are trying to improve and protect out of everything else plugged into the wall socket.
    
    I guess the Duet does it even better!
