Michael,
Thanks, I have not gotten these amps up and running yet so this will be another modification but it is one I want to do. I am still getting a low level hum. Being a newbie at this and having only constructed amps and preamps from instructions my troubleshooting skills are somewhat limited.
Have you worked on this amp before? I know it is very old but I have seen a number of responses that these are decent sounding amps once the Input Transformer is bypassed.
Your help on this is very much appreciated.

Email me a phone number where I can reach you and I can walk you thru any issues.I would love to share some ideas on these amps as I have a pair as well..Check your email and I shot you a phone number as well.
Honest amplification is better than excessive 2nd order distortion anytime.
Michael,
I really appreciate the offer. I did receive your email but did not see a phone number. So here is mine, 714-747-7609 cell phone. My email address is rav6258@aol.com. I am located in So. Cal. and I am not sure where you are, I mention this because of time differences. I will not be home this weekend but am available next week. I am retired to I can be reached anytime. Let me know what your schedule is like so I do not interrupt anything on your end.
Once again, thanks. I would love to get these up and running.
Richard
