i have been doing shows for years and for the life of me i have never been in a situation where i was not able to directly mic who i needed to. the situation is this- my daughter is in a school play. she was in one last year and the sound was horrible! im shure you know the feeling of wanting to pull your hair out when hearing feedback and listing to the kids switch wireless lav's back stage without turning them off. i promisid myself to not let that happen agian. i know i will have a deasent board with some UPJ's for mains and a couple of UPM's for delays. I was thinking of 2 PZM's padded downstage off center. one shotgun on either side offstage and a couple of SM81's hanging down from the top. if anyone has better ideas please let me know. also include model # so i can get it right

Follow Ups:
A trick that has worked well for me in the past.
Take a 4'X4' piece of plexiglass. Mount a PZM in the middle. Make 2 of these, and fly them in a V over the actors. Pan for nuance.
