From experience with alot of different brands I would say your
far better off going with Electrovoice then JBL

Yes, I would tend to agree with this in general, however, it was also the " price " that was to be considered. I do not think you can buy much EV in this price range ( approx. $375.00 each )
I beleive you can try either Electrovoice Eliminator series or
Dynacords Corus Pro Series. They are far better than JBL or any other speakers (in that class) on this face of earth.
