I just finished a set of 4Pi Professional loudspeakers. This model is equipped with a JBL 2226H 15" bass driver and Eminence PSD2002 loaded horn top end in a very small package (26"x18"x15"). All "pro gear". I'm very happy with the result of this mix. Even though this combination results in a "high" f3 of 50 Hz, there is no lack of controlled POWERFUL bass and crystal clear highs. Pictures and windows will rattle and resonate at 85Db. I could go on and on....anyway...yes pro drivers work very well in a home setting .....just watch the volume! This speaker is 97 Db efficient and can take 600 watts all day. Take it easy or you WILL be deaf!
