I have some OLD masters recorded on PCM F1 format, vhs and beta tapes. I don't have a decoder. Is there any way of decoding via software, sample rate conversion or...? I know its not 44.1 and I'm not even sure how I'd get a digital signal out of it.Thanks.

You will have to use a Sony PCM-601ES processor to transfer them digitaly -clone- to DAT/CDR.Regards,
