I'm on the market for a mixer that will be able to do the following:-Accept two microphone inputs, and at least three 1/4 inch inputs
-Be able to output each of these inputs seperately to their own respective amplifiers
-Be able to output all of the sounds to a recording device via one 1/4 inch, XLR, or stereo RCA cables. Can anybody recommend a product that can do this for as CHEAPLY as possible? I was looking at the Behringer MX882, but I am unsure if that unit can do this. I want to spend as LITTLE AS POSSIBLE - my band can't upgrade until we start getting more money for our shows.
Thanks again for all of the help thus far, guys! I'm learning a lot here...
PS: To those who saw my other thread, I will not be able to use the Yamaha MGX5000 mixer that I used previously...

The TASCAM PORTASTUDIO 414 MKII or it's latest generation should cover your needs.

Mackie 1202 -- may not be the cheapest, but I know it can do almost all this, and is fairly decently priced. It is a little kludgy -- it's got two stereo busses (they snuck in a second one, which they call 3 and 4), so if you pan two of the mics hard left and hard right, and then route two more hard left and hard right on the ALT34 bus, you can do four separate mics on 4 separate channels. You might be able to use one of the aux sends four the 5th channel, but I think at this point you're pushing it.The third bullet item you can also do, but not at the same time.
If you can find another mixer that has (a) the inputs you want, and (b) inserts on all those inputs, then you can split the insert to an amp, and redirect the other half of the split back to the insert return.
