The Z68 seems like a mixed blessing for cMP.
Please tell me why you think it would be good for cMP machines.
Thanks for your help,

Hi Rick
Z68 could be better (could be, maybe)formerly for three reasons, IMHO:
- it could mounts new 22nm Ivy Bridge. They can consume less than i3 2100T, lowering currents circulating on the entire mobo
- the regulators on mobo are always switching ( like everyones!) but are really better builded, a lot than the previous models of mobo ( are the same of H67). In my H67 mobo ( now discontinued, a true pity) current for picoPSU drops from 1,7A of H55 to 1,2A of H67.
- Z68 get a BIOS totally manageable, more than my H67. This could be an advantage to lowering tensions and downclocking CPU.
But someone must try it, I can attest that H67+ i3 2100T is largely better than my previous system but I've scheduled a new mobo CPU combo to april-may of next year, when I'll can buy new Ivy Bridge CPU, if review will demonstrate real improvement.
Ciao

Whenever I read all of the "it is faster" stuff I start to worry which was my main concern for our application.
I will hope for a flexible BIOS and let you know what I find.
Looking at the manual does not show anything different from their typical BIOS but the manuals never show what happens with control/F1 which is what really matters.
THANKS for your help!
I'm so curious about it.....
But I want wait for new setup when will be available new CPU too.
I think you'llhave some surprise using new setting, it's largely better than H55/i3 530 combo in my experience.
