Hi all,
Is anyone aware of a card with multiple stereo outputs? I see all these 5.1 and 7.1 cards, but I'm wondering if there is a card with 5 - 7 sets of stereo channels?
So, 5 to 7 1/8 jacks all capable of rendering stereo. I think the closest I've seen is an offering from M Audio which I believe has 4 pairs of stereo outputs.
Thanks,
Phil

Hey Phil,
What are you trying to do with 10-14 outputs??
THose are analog right?
a Presonus FireStudio also have the FP10. The Firestudio is quite flexible for both inputs and outputs. It has a small app that sits on the PC/Mac and allows you to direct all of that sort of configuring.
The cool thing is that, once its been configured, the FireStudio will then remember the config after its been disconnected from PC - even if its powered off and on again. This is a great feature if you're recording live and the PC locks up on you.
Its somewhere around your price point as a street price. I got mine for less than that used on that big auction site.
Cheers,
David
not sure if this will help, but... if you use OS X...
Griffin Firewave is a small outboard firewire device with 3 sets of 1/8" mini outputs that can be configured as 5.1 or any configuration supported by Apple AUdio Midi setup.
Griffin has them on special for $20 at their site.
Should be daisy-chainable for 6 stereo pairs at $40.
You can configure a Lynx AES16 as 4 stereo pairs.
The same thing with a RME AES32
Regards,
Bruce
