Yep.
This or that filter at the right spot can have quite an impact.
However. There are cases (too much filtering) where things get worse!
Again - interesting to see that your insanely high priced gear is
not able to cope with it.
Advise related to your photo:
First u should cleanup your under-the-hood cable mess.
That mess acts like antennas and might cause other interferences.
Keep mains separated from DC and NF signal cables.
And also keep HF stuff like network and USB cables separated from the rest.
And review your grounding scheme. Proper grounding is key!
Hint:
U could e.g. cut and fold cardboard chunks to act as cable bridges
and cable runs.
Another hint:
Keep the DC cables as short as possible!
And also keep in mind that additional jacks and plugs cause issues
on their own.

Thanks for the suggestions. Many of those wires are gnd wires for Synergistic cables ,Tranquility Bases, and UEF Gnd block.
It doesn't matter what the cables are. Sound wire routing and dressing 'optimises' your system and Soundchekk is right.
Please share images of your system components so that we might learn what an optimized system looks like.
I DO NOT have an optimised system, only one that I can get the best SQ out off. This in my case means the most minimalized OS I can use, with the best computer hardware and power supply I can find.
I thought I was doing the same thing. Ok, the word "optimize" is the issue. So what is the definition that you apply to this word?
