Took me all of 2 hours to succeed in updating the driver, now 192 is recognized on the DAC.
I am still in the dark on how to input 5V 1A,so as not to have to use an inferior USB Y cable.
What does the yellow tipped/encircled 3.5 mm(the only 3.5 mm input) serve as?Thanks for your help.

Found it-the only input on my PUC2 Lite is to regulate the zero latency function.I have a short USB which is good quality, but the PUC2 Lite does not sound good with only 0.5 A fed to it.Is there any way that I can still use the good Wireworld cable between the laptop and the PUC2 lite input while still being able to add on a 5V feed from a Teradak PS,so that the PUC2 is amply fed?Otherwise I would have to use a cheap USB Y cable, and that would nullify any sonic gains to be achieved with the PUC2.Maybe worth a try,in any case
ou will need to dismantle the PUC; disconnect +V into the usb socket, and install an external power socket into which 5V can be fed.
Should not be difficult but you should use a very good power source and not one of these cheapish web purchased units with LT or LM chips.
Appreciated! If I understand correctly-take away the 5V supplied via laptop's usb,and reroute to a new(drilled)3.5 mm. socket.Maybe the zero latency 3.5 mm. socket, which I have no plans to use,can be rerouted internally to supply the necessary 5V 1A?I plan to use a small Teradak. Thanks for your advice,Raanan
Hi !
just to say if you find a solution please post.
I have the simple PUC2, non the Lite version.
I am using the adapter cable from Teradak to power it.
Strangely i have found a cheap usb charger that I like with it.
Kind regards,
bg
