What are you going to use it with? This is the PC Audio Asylum, you would need a spdif to usb converter to use it with a computer.
Might get more info in the Digital Drive Asylum.
I just looked at the pics, I wouldn't buy it, but that is just my opinion, probably not worth much.
If you do buy it, please write up a review.
Looks like something out of the early 2000's in terms of the revival of older chip DAC's. I know there were several that has stacked chips. Thorsten might be a good input on this configuration. Will one co-ax input be enough for your application?
Agree. An old design using the NOS TDA1543 DAC. It's only a single chip from the pictures which suggests it won't be the most linear in terms of accuracy.
You might like the analogue output's sound but this is an old 16-bit design and will not be able to benefit from hi-res content.
