But wait...we had "experts" and know it alls telling us it could be no better than an SBT, or a $100 DIY, or a Pi, or a laptop!
You must be hallucinating! Try again!

I've always found the design inherently desirable - a small renderer using the highest quality parts crafted by a talented designer for a single task. Put a massive power supply behind it.My question has always been to what degree will it improve upon what remains a remarkable device. I was willing to experiment.

"a small renderer using the highest quality parts crafted by a talented designer for a single task..."
All of the above.
If I had enough smarts left in my aging brain to deal with LMS, etc., I would be tempted, as the house is now fulling wired with ethernet.
I said no such thing! ;-)

I don't recall anyone bashing the mRendu.
We did ask Music Industry Professional Isaak J. Garvey (P) several times to give us a comparison of his microRendu vs his $17,000 Aurender and $6000 Antipodes DX Reference but nothing.
We can only assume that he was too embarrassed to tell us that his $640 microRendu performs as well as his megabuck toys!
$17,000 Aurender or a $6000 Antipodes DX Reference?
Could be.
or even the microRendu!
