The recent release of Roon 1.1 build 101 has solved the issues of disconnect from the HQPlayer when used simultaneously playing DSF files. Converting everything to DSD256 sounds great with the Analog DAC.

Cool,
I plan to trial Roon as soon as the microRendu gets here....

For entertainment they watch his body twist
Behind his eyes he says, 'I still exist.'"
I love what I'm hearing here.
What filter/modulator do you select for Analog DAC?
Poly-sinc-shrt-mp, DSD7 or DSD7 256+fs.
For classical, I have been playing around with Poly-sinc-shrt as well.
What CPU is HQPlayer running on?

An Intel Core i7 4720HQ 2.6 GHz processor. I am using only about 16-18% CPU converting everything to DSD256 with this computer.
My system is Intel i7 4790 based
We have exactly the same settings... DSD256 too.
Great minds think alike! :)

I was actually talking about you and Steve. :)
But yes, with HQPlayer I like those settings also. I up-sample to 128 not 256 though with a Aune S16 or an Ifi IDAC2 which can do 256 but that pushes my lower power Xeon CPU.
I also enjoy my NOS tube DAC. Lots of good choices these days.

Bob
Of course you were talking about me and Steve :)
...but I was including you among the great minds :D
