Does your Master 7 have the new AMANERO board or the older USB32?
If I've asked you that in the past, my apologies as I am getting old. :-(
I'm finding the AMANERO USB-I2S solution on my Master-11 pretty darned good. Also enjoying the Mac Mini TOSLINK with a decent glass fiber TOSLINK cable(no adapters).
Have a Master-7 on the way via DHL (with HDMI I2S) so I'll have an Audio-GD DAC on both floors of the house. =:-0

....Audio-GD DAC on both floors of the house.
compared with PS Audio Direct Stream or anything in that class.
Plus, I need a DAC/Headphone amp for my easy chair downstairs and a better DAC in the main system so...
Audio-GD Master 11 DAC/Headphone Amp downstairs and Audio-GD Master 7 DAC upstairs.
Likely end up spending more $$$ on cables and USB doodads for the two than either of the DACs. :-)
It has the Amenero board but I find the outboard converters to sound better. Currently using the Melodious with I2S output using J45 connector which is what my Master 7 has. By the way I run my Master 7 as NOS. Very musical running this way

What are your current jumper settings?
King-Wa has changed the Audio-GD web page since I originally ordered my Master 11 (jumpers were identical on the web page for the Master 7 and 11). But it currently remains unclear exactly what jumpers constitute NOS/Zero Up Sampling these days.
If I remember it was a jumper on IPSO and IPSI
I don't want to open the unit to make sure. I would send an e-mail to Audio-GD to make sure
Alan
Found this using search as there is no longer a link to it from the Audio-GD home page.
So far I have only opened my Master 11 to look at the AMANERO board and have not messed with the jumpers which I understand are default 8x Oversampling and sound good to me, especially with headphones (balances Senn. HD-600).
Once the Master 7 arrives and is in the main system I may dare to experiment a bit.
Your link verifies that IPSO and IPSI turned on. This is what I used in my Master 7
Alan
Some claim to.
No not at all. Just a greater feeling of live music being played.
Alan
That said, did you do this before or after you went to the after-market USB > I2S boxes?
Before
Alan
