According to the AudioStream article posted November 10, 2015 linked below:
The Audiostream article of 10th said that they needed to find a buyer by 16th Novemeber to avoid receivership. They didn't. But they say that they now have serious interest... Is that for real or just an ambiguous statement to try to keep things going for a little longer?
Frankly it looks like goodbye to me. Hope that I'm wrong.
I'm not a Qobuz subscriber but I know of a couple Asylum inmates who enjoy their service.
It looks as if the final situation will be known between 10th December and 10th January. They are the service of greatest attraction to me were I to finally buy into the music streaming concept at all.
As this thread is primarily about downloads I think I need to clarify for inmates who may not be aware that Qobuz is primarliy a hi-rez music streaming service which can also provide album downloads to subscribers.

"Qobuz is primarliy a hi-rez music streaming service which can also provide album downloads to subscribers."
Sadly, they don't make a lot of money on the streaming service and need to be selling LOTS of downloads to be financially successful. Problem for them is that most people are happy streaming the music and have no desire to 'buy the cow' when they are getting all of the milk they can drink at 15 Euros a month.
That said, you may find a lot of music listed on QOBUZ that when you go to stream it, it's is NOT available for streaming but IS available for purchase. :-(
Example is that the CHANDOS catalog is no longer available on QOBUZ.
Good news here is that many of these titles are available for streaming on other services like TIDAL and ClassicsOnlineHD.

But the bad news is that you would need a subscription to all three services. In my country that would cost the equivalent of about $80 a month. Significantly more than I spend on CDs (and I am a regular purchaser). This is one reason why I just don't "get" the streaming model. In addition even then I could not guarantee continued acccess to any given repertoire given the practice of labels or artists withdrawing rights from services, which has been common practice so far.
If you are right sbout streaming customers then not buying CDs I suspect that ultimately the tiny royalties per play that streaming services currently pay will prove economically unacceptable to the record companies or artists. No doubt their acceptance of them so far has been based upon the idea that the streaming exposure will lead to increased sales.
I have friends who are paying twice that every month for Cable TV!
Not me.
I pay about $22 for QOBUZ and $19 for TIDAL but have dropped both DEEZER ELITE and Spotify. ClassicsOnlineHD is still a 28 day free trial but I'll likely keep it. $60 per month for hundreds of hours of music ain't a bad deal, and I STILL spend more than that on CDs and Vinyl.
But not TV.
