My library consists of redbook, HDCD, LPs recorded at 24/96 & 24/192, DSD files which are single rate, double rate and 1 quad rate.
Today I'm upsampling everything to 4x DSD in Jriver 21. What I see is all PCM files appear in the exaSound dashboard as 11289.6 kHz.
All single rate DSD appear as 2822.4 kHz in the exaSound dashboard. In JRiver 21.0.06 they appear as 5644kbps.
Double rate DSD appears as 5644.8 kHz in the exaSound dashboard and 11289 kbps in JRiver.
Quad rate DSD appears as 11289.6 kHz in exaSound and 22579 kbps in JRiver.
Everything plays without issue.

Looks like it's a Mac Issue.
I posted at their website, but no replies from Developers as yet.
I tried upsampling to 4X DSD, in the DSP Studio. again today with several files.
They either played back at 2x DSD, or had weird choppy distorted playback at 4X.
HQ works fine for everything, and I let them know that!
I can think of no legitimate reason to require registration to access manuals or drivers. It might be appropriate to require a serial number, but only because this will ensure that the correct version is downloaded.
I am innately suspicious of companies that hide this information. This now looks to be a second reason (after the Jplay Hoax issue) for Exasound to be on my "do not buy list".
