Yes they are.
That the 'Jitterbug' doesn't work on ONE INMATES DAC, at least at the moment and that COULD change, is hardly news, but worth posting here. But when it is presented by said inmate as it it were 'XMOS DAC' without qualifier, it should not be outside the scope of this particular board for someone with TWO XMOS DACs to reply that it DOES work on theirs.
My guess, and it is just a guess, would be that the Jitterbug likely works on MORE XMOS DACs that it doesn't, but time will tell.
The whole JRiver/Jplay thing is 'Played Out' as far as I am concerned. That the fact that an upgrade to Jplay software causes it to not work with a given manufacturer's gear could somehow be the fault of that manufacturer is absolute nonsense! Especially if all earlier versions of JPlay worked.
But that's the state of this hobby so we just got to roll with the punches, I guess.

But then you go on to add... LOL

Really... LOL smh...
When apple upgraded the OS to Maverick the original HiFace USB would no longer work, they needed to the updated driver.
Should apple have had to change OS 10.9 so it would then still work with the old HiFace driver???
As I see it...
exaSound, JPlay and JRiver are much smaller than Apple. So yours was kind of an Apple to sour grapes comparison.
JRiver is more mainstream than JPlay. exaSound, a small company, chose to spend their time and money being compatible with the more mainstream company. It's sometimes known as seeking a better return on their investment.
It sounds good on my 2 XMOS DACs; The Wavelength Crimson and the MSB Technology Analog DAC.
It also sounds good on my 2 computers and 2 other dacs, Amanero and TEAC but does not work well on my XMOS one.
But this is precisely the point, and one which Audioquest recognises by offering refunds should it not work well.
It is time that some of you recognise the variability of computer audio as otherwise, whitewashes prevent progress.
I note the number of waste of space posts on this topic.
Yup, your point is correct.

"Not working", in the terminology used by inmate who posted first, means that it degrades sound.
"Working", in the terminology of the OP in this thread, means that he can hear music with Jitterbug in place, and doesn't hear clicks when he moves mouse. We have no idea how it AFFECTS SOUND, and he doesn't either, from what can be gathered from his post.
Can you see any distinction whatsoever? And - what valuable data, RELATED TO AUDIO, can one obtain from the post by second inmate?
Trying to make it simple...
Fred said Jitterbug does not work with XMOS DACs.
Abe said yes it does. I have two and it works with both.
Subsequently, Steve said, it works with my XMOS DACs too.
Is that better?
No, it's not better, at all.
It seems that you chose to ignore what I wrote in the post that you responded to, with regards to different meaning of "working" - or are pretending to not having understood it.
You are certainly within your rights to do so.
That's what fmak posted.
Now unless you are fmak posting with a different moniker, I just don't see how you can say that isn't what he meant, what with the interference with he moves the mouse as many of us do when using a non-dedicated computer while listening.
Darn it, I really thought I could help.
