I've been using Core Audio, as directed.
Do you know if HQ, MC21, AV+, or Decibel use ASIO on Mac?
The manual says ASIO for Mac is better, but says to choose Core-Audio.
That's a loose end for me, appreciate your input!

The ASIO setting sounds best. I wrote the review on your DAC 1 year ago. At that time Decibel was the only software supporting ASIO for OSX. Look at the exaSound site to see if more programs have been added.
User-error is more than possible.
Just fyi, link to supported players below. Be sure to scroll down the page then click on page 2 for more.
The latest version of Decibel was released in Jan. Unfortunately, I don't have an exaSound DAC to play with.
I have Marc Colby Qt, in 2x and 4x DSD, only 4x File I have. From HDTT.
Plays 2x, error on 4x.
Suggestions?

Wow, I guess I need to visit the exaSound site.
