Ok, installed JRiver 21, found I then had to uninstall 20. All is well, other than that one artist I can't get it to default to track #. I have an easy way around it, but it is strange. All other artists seem to work with the track # as the default. I sure did something by accident, I can't figure out how to undo it.
I found one problem with defeating an internet connection, is that I then can't use Gizmo as a remote. I'll have to do some listening to determine if the luxury of remote is worth, the possible degradation of sound quality. I'm thinking Wi-Fi would cause less noise than Ethernet, as no wired connection. Although Ethernet may be safer for downloads, although I've had no problems with them using Wi-Fi. Another thing Windows 10 does not include a Zip File program, the one that came, offers a trial then payment will needed. Can anyone recommend a good free one?
I'd sure like to hear from anyone running Fidelizer with Windows 10.
I'm not really comfortable with the idea of manually shutting down processes that I don't understand, as the wrong one could possibly disable the whole PC.
I don't believe my Dac does any upsampling, but for now I will stick with native resolution.
I do appreciate the replies. I feel like I am quite late to PC audio, and while I am enjoying it a lot, it sure is different than the good old days of connecting a component, and you are ready to go.
Follow Ups:
Not if you use the Services tag in taskmgr.exe. Just reboot and you are back. You'd learn far more about PC audio this way, rather than relying on someone else's ears and say so.
I keep several images of my operating system in case I need to restore, which can be done in minutes.
Fidelizer's default configuration doesn't shutdown services or manipulate any process at all. It only does that only with user's consent to change optimization level to do it manually. Also, it doesn't make any permanent changes so you can test without worrying about your system. Just reboot and everything will go back to normal. You can just download Fidelizer here

Open it, hit Fidelize, and listen. It doesn't affect anything outside core audio performance if you don't change optimization level to higher ones. And judge by yourself whether you want to keep it or not.
