Congrats. Hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

Public Shaming by ST, I'm getting another Power Supply, one recommended by Exasound , to "squeeze the last drop of performance" out of the E12.
Will report later, but I have VERY HIGH expectations!!!
I talked to George about the power supply and clock. He thought the differences were minor. But I will be interested in your thoughts.
Is there a specific frequency range that power supply noise appears or is it across the spectrum?
I don't know about that tech stuff..
George indicated the same to me, just that the PS could help you get just a little bit more.
I did read a very good review, I'll find it and post the link.
It's expensive, but the battery stuff i saw online was even more.
Don't know if it's worth it...

Thanks for the link. Which ps did George recommend? I've considered the Hynes for another application but did not act on it.
I've not heard a battery powered ps for comparison, but I've read they generally contribute to reduced dynamics. I have a Sutherland 20/20 phono pre. Ron used batteries in his well regarded early models. He now uses 2 "wall warts" with the 20/20.
Maybe it's like wine with screw off caps. Corks are not the best way to seal a bottle but it's expected.
tho the Paul Hynes also had the Silver Wire Version, which the reviewer liked the most.
Paul also prefers the Silver Version, which he uses in his own system.
I'm ordering the Silver, but it's nearly $700, incl shipping and ins.
It's a Disease, after all...
"It's a Disease, after all..."
Yes it is! And there's no known cure.
I read 300 euro and did the conversion using 1.12. I must have mis-read. Still interested in your thoughts when you receive it.
I switched my e28 to battery supply.
would you tell me what Battery PS you have?
In the Nov. issue.
