I have a mounting solution which came my computer case so once its mounted inside I can either run a power surface mount connector to the back of the case or use a extra D/C power tap from my HDPlex linear power supply. Also already have a USB motherboard connector for the USB input.
Sound wise it seems more engaging and flowing [pulsating passages come through as such] background seems much blacker too. Going to give the caps a couple of weeks to settle down before I do a really thorough A/B comparison.

Follow Ups:
The TO220 pass transistors needs a bigger heat sink than the dinky one you showed and if you mount it inside the PC, tie this to a largish area of metal, with a mica/silicone isolator. Shield the whole unit too if you can.
Good info..thanks will do!!
