Hey Bob,
the tone of your writing suggests that you are quite a little more on than the original poster...
Follow Ups:
Bob gets mad when people accuse the ones he love is all.
Normal human response to protect the ones you love, however if he claims not to love iFi and its designer then something is strange.
I don't think Bob is strange....:-)

... You get much better treatment than this at the Green Door.
Come back, Dyno.
You made a perfectly reasonable post but it seems some folks obviously prefer you to sugar-coat reality.

Hey Sox, yeah I think I'll pay the GD a visit. If this had happened to a Chinese made product everyone would have taken turns running over them with the bus...all reason and sugar coating out the door.
Because its American made and designed by the beloved JS all is immediately forgiven.

You give dummy's a bad reputation...

I think you mean "dummies." ;)
JE
You are correct the plural of dummy is dummies, but he is actually just a singular possessive dummy. It will be added to the Oxford English Dictionary in his honor.
Don't worry about it, Bob_C. I try not to grammar Nazi folks, but when the entire point of a post is to impugn the intelligence of another poster, if you're not impeccable, then you're fair game.
Were I you, I'd forget the OED and instead get a small dictionary that you can quickly thumb through. Also, the below linked text got me through many a term paper!
Got any good links for us?
All the best!

Thanks for the tip, but luckily this forum is not marked.
Recently had to write a number a of APA papers... I think I will be ok... Thanks
... that "grammar Nazi" is a verb.
Oh, the irony...

The use of nouns as verbs is called "verbing," a subset of the more generalized anthimeria, where one part of speech is used as another part of speech. Look it up. It is common usage in English and has been so for centuries.

Schitt?
Sorry, that was a different thread.
Buy hey, if this keeps up you won't be able to buy from ANYONE and """""thing """"""of all the money you'll save!
Or should that be 'Your left'?
Of course we don't expect you to be able to understand the difference between a simple typo and a gross misuse of grammar such as plural vs.
possessive.
'Dummy's' indeed!
But please do keep posting here as swapping out various brands of 'audiophile' ethernet patch cords gets boring after a time.
