You had your mind made up before you ever read the marketing blurb I'd bet.

A lot of gear out there, with much better track record for the companies, with regards to producing good-sounding equipment, as opposed to flat, dry, harsh, irritating "vanishing THD" crap.Oh, and high concentration of shameless hype, mixed with blatant BS, within one marketing page doesn't help, either.
So - why?
PS: Look at the thread on Amp/Pre, where guy bought this wonder-amp without ever hearing it. You can't miss it - it has the word "disappointment" in the subject line.

Same reason you'd want to change that last unrelated bit on your hard drive to see if it solved any sixty hertz problems you might be having....because without ever trying it you will never know what it sounds like.
