Hi,
I have been using mostly the Sony "Walkman HD" App to play music on my Sony's in recent times.
But USB Audio Player Pro is used if I have real high end gear attached (think iDSD micro, battery powered Kings Sound Electrostatic Headphone Amp and Electrostatic Headphones) instead of just casual listening and I find UAPP excellent. Though I play from local SD Cards...
I did manage to stream 192K and DSD at the office. But why carry a server when 64G transflash cards are dirt cheap and easily swapped and hold many albums worth?

At 20 bits, you are on the verge of dynamic range covering fly-farts-at-20-feet to untolerable pain. Really, what more could we need?

You probably won't carry 1-2TB material around on your SD cards. ;)As I said. It is just another option. But. It's one of the very few good sounding streaming options now. (actually I wouldn't be able to tell if there's another option supporting external DACs and native srates under Android)
And it IMO works (sounds) better than e.g. squeezeplayer.

Both SDXC and microSDXC are currently at 512GB.
At these capacities they ain't cheap, but they are available if you want them.
By late 2016, I'm sure we'll see 1TB SDXC cards become available and microSDXC cards not too long after.

Right now 640G... :P

Sony Walkman does, on Sony's Xperia Z range (which is what I use). As it applies ASRC I think UAPP sounds better, but I may be hearing things.

I would not know about that.
