Mr. Valet: Apogee looks nice, but at this time they're going for a lot more than $125. I'll keep checking. My power amp just fried some transformers! Gotta focus my energy and money on that now.

I see three eBay completed listings from the last couple days: $122 - $139. You must be thinking of the Duet II; yes, much more expensive. Some prefer the sound of the Duet to the Duet II. Either way, it's close.
The main difference is firewire (Duet) or USB (Duet II).
Sorry to hear about your transformers. Hope it's easy and not too expensive.
