If cables completely disappear, I'm sure we'll see products to 'Improve' the air quality for Sound in your Listening Room.It will be an interesting debate. Humidity, Ozone, Oxygen/hydrogen composition. Addition of Helium for a more Munchkin like sound. There will be those, no doubt, that hear more 'air' in individual instruments. As well, as folks that will not be inviting their friends that are fond of Mexican food and Beer; they would 'foul' up the listening experience in more ways than one.
