Well, I don't have plenty of DACs and my previous one had mute relay, so quite irrelevant to hear anything. In this case there is no mute relay. Quite difficult to troubleshoot and get idea what is going on. I've checked everything and still don't have any clue.

Sometimes DACs make a popping sound when they regain the lock.
Say the media player mutes between tracks or when buffering and regaining the lock by the DAC when the SPDIF comes in causes pops.
The Well Tempered Computer
Hello,
Yes, I've read many docs about it, mostly of latency problems on Windows, but nothing specific for Mac OSX. It seems that those dropouts, pops are audible before music starts playing and when I hit pause in A+. When the player is buffering the song into memory I can hear those clicks and when must starts playing not. Also when I hit pause in A+, those clicks are very audible on even not so high volume positions. Anyone though have any idea what it might be?
