I guess ,we should take those agreements we click before we download somethings a little more seriously ! I just wish that Apple would outline
what it is they are adding or more importantly how "regular" processes will
be affected for those of us who would rather not have our comfort levels "disturbed" for the sake of new functionality that many of us don't need to have on a "phone or tablet"
All that aside, can we revert to the previous IOS ?

No, I have not experienced any issues with typing since iOS 8 on any of my devices.

5.1.1. What are all these problems people speak of?
Typing on my iPad finally doesn't suck thanks to ios8, because ios8 finally enabled me to install Swype, a favorite of mine from Android. Welcome to 2011, Apple.
Hmmm... Now that I think of it using my IPad to type messages only chews up battery life, so this may be a blessing in disguise !
I prefer not to have to keep my IPad plugged into the wall when I'm using MPad to control my Auraliti Dfp which has no player controls on it
(Man I hope this does'nt mean I need to look into "Luminosity" ASAP)
nor 'Type' while listening IMO.
However, this is why I have foregone using Tablets, because if one can't even type on one ... what good are they?
It's pretty much a remote control, used with its keyboard dock and a wireless mouse (much more convenient than trackpad). And no, laptop (netbook) is not the same, since it's not fanless.

I would love to know what this has to do with audio...?
Just off the top of my head......
Some folks have content on their iPad and type to search specific albums or tracks. Others, use iPads to control the streaming of content from other devices, and type to search specific albums or tracks.
Like I said....what does it have to do with AUDIO?
I see far too many post general posts about computers without even the loosest connection to audio or music.
Not trying to be a ball breaker, but if you use JRemote or Apple Remote to control your computer music software then this might be an issue. If the keyboard isn't working correctly, performing a SEARCH would be difficult.
That is REALLY a stretch. The OP should be posting on an Apple specific forum, of which there are many.
yea, it is a stretch. But a valid Audio question :)
And surely IT has something to do with audio...
Rick
... having some fine cheese and a digestif after lunch? Finishing with a bit of XO cognac?
May be even smoke a cigar, or a pipe, better yet, with some aromatic tobacco?
Question: which one of THOSE items has something to do with audio? All of it sure enhances the experience, and I'm all for discussing some of those - not tobacco-related though (don't smoke).
... these types of question would be directed to them, instead of a web forum dedicated to AUDIO. Below you will find another thread, just like this one, initiated by guess who.
I'm surprised we haven't heard a question yet why iWatch is running a bit too fast.
Well since we're not able to delete our posting after a certain amt of time I make a short
comment & then "absolve " anyone from any further commitment to possibly helping
someone as outrageously misguided as myself "Go my sons, you are now free"
You know what forget about the comment, as I'm not feeling that socially motivated at this moment to do so. Well .. alright , my apologies for requesting a non specific forum related
question ( I could ask "What does being slightly tolerant have to do with being social "
but I won't ....Oops !!!, not forum specific)
